Anyone Else Hate Scorpio?   4 comments

Mercury and Venus have been cruising along together in Scorpio for about a week, making communication, love, business, well…let’s face it…. life super intense and miserable. If you enjoy being deeply scrutinized for growth purposes I suppose this has been great fun for you, I, personally am so glad that the duo has moved on into Sagittarius so things can now get a bit lighter if sometimes too lofty. Also today, Moon is rolling over Neptune in Aquarius, where they are tying up last minute details on moving into the next paradigm shift. Meaning if you have big plans, you probably won’t really get to sink into them until February of next year. I know you thought it was going to happen sooner, but sorry, it’s not. You should know by now it never happens when you think it should and if you take a look around you there is still plenty to do. Thank you Lola, for making me take the time to look at the stars!!!

Life Retrograde   Leave a comment

If you are wondering why nothing is happening, like this blog, it may be because Mercury has been in retrograde, along with Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, North Node and Chiron.  What does this mean?  It means nothing is going as it “should.” Planets don’t really go in reverse, they just look like they do from our perspective here on earth.  And of course, our perspective can be, no is, rather skewed. Which reminds me of this quote I heard or read a long time ago, and I can’t find it or remember who said it, but it goes something like this: I take one step forward and slide two steps back but I’m making my way to God cause I was facing the wrong direction to begin with.  So take heart folks, either way, it is nearing the end, Mercury goes forward this weekend and things will seem like they are happening again.  Whether they really are or aren’t is entirely unprovable.

Moon in Virgo, Mercury in Leo   2 comments

A great combination for a miserable debate.  Moon in Virgo makes us sensitive to what could be, critical of what is, and desirous of providing others with our “helpful insights”.  Mercury in Leo would like nothing better than an approving, adoring audience to listen to it’s long monologues. If you’re on your own this fourth of July and the next couple of days, you’ll find the debate internalized and you might be like Hemmingway’s old man, who says to himself, “You give me much good counsel … I’m tired of it.”

Mercury in Cancer, Part Deux   2 comments

OK, so I was a little glib in my earlier post, “just do what feels good, enjoy the moment, and so on.”  Right, like Cancer is that easy.  More like crashing into all your fears and insecurities and wanting to hide under a big blanket of Ben and Jerry’s chocolate double fudge ice cream forever.  The world is a scary place and while it was doable to rationalize it last month, that will no longer work for this month.  Oh, and since it’s Mercury, you can expect yourself to be a needy manipulative ass in all your conversations. It’s always worst at first durning the transition, the culture shock of having to face up to being a big scaredy cat can be traumatic, but then it gets easier, we notice that the world is still standing, we’re still alive, and overall everything is actually pretty good.  Then, I suppose, we can all get on with what feels good, like I said before.

Mercury in Cancer trine Neptune in Pisces   Leave a comment

I have done a great deal of thinking lately, but I have not come up with a great deal of solutions. Thinking seems to lead to more thinking.  With Mercury moving into Cancer today and making the trine to Neptune Pisces, it’s a good time to take a few days and put all that thinking to rest.  Instead go with what feels good.  And connect to water, go swimming, take a bath, or stand in the rain. Read a romance novel and drink loads of tea.  Walk around the house in pajamas, that kind of thing.  Let the solutions bubble up to the surface on their own, while you spend your time enjoying the moment.
